Project overview

UMCH Technology is a Universiti Malaya spin-off company co-founded by Prof. Dr. Loo Chu Kiong, developing the WeHealth connected digital health platform. The platform is described as bridging clinical practice and artificial intelligence, and its industry collaboration has been covered by national business media. Prof. Loo's academic research covers lifelong and continual machine learning, explainable robotics and AI, trustworthy and sustainable AI, and medical AI, including gastric cancer segmentation published in IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems. UMCH Technology gives that research a route into clinical settings, where questions about reliability and interpretability are settled by the people using a system rather than by benchmark performance.
