Overview
This area covers learning over structured and networked data, artificial intelligence on connected devices, and the intelligent systems built on top of them, including educational technology and generative AI applications. Graph methods matter here because many of the systems the centre studies, from sensor networks to knowledge bases to teaching platforms, are naturally relational rather than tabular. Edge and device constraints are treated as part of the research problem rather than an implementation detail.
